Patricia Stauber is a registered nurse (RN) and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She specializes in individual, couples and family therapy primarily surrounding grief and loss issues. She maintains a private practice in Miami Beach and Aventura Florida.

Patricia has over 20 years of experience as an RN and bereavement coordinator and counselor at local Miami hospitals. In this capacity, she has served on the ethics committee of several area hospitals. While working in the Labor and Delivery Room, she established a program for mothers and families whose babies died through miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death. Her compassionate and caring work in the area of bereavement spread throughout the hospital, allowing her to create and develop an entire hospital based bereavement program. Patricia then moved on into private practice as a psychotherapist, working with a wide range of clients in Aventura and Miami Beach for the past 12 years. Additionally, Patricia works in the community and with numerous  Fortune 500 companies helping them to cope with onsite bereavement and trauma issues. Additionally, she has helped numerous employees in the South Florida community with post-bank robberies, with company downsizing, rescue workers after the Value Jet airline crash and in New orleans post hurricane Katrina, to name a few. Her involvement as a mental health consultant with The March of the Living has afforded her the opportunity to work extensively with teenagers and holocaust survivors.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Patricia has presented at National  conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Bereavement such as Widowhood, Adult Loss of a Parent, Perinatal Bereavement, Survivors of Homicide and Helping Children cope with loss. At an international conference in Washington DC she addressed issues for Holocaust survivors and PTSD.  She has addressed grief and loss programs over the years on both television and radio shows. she served as the Co-Chair of a National Bereavement Conference in Miami 1995.

Patricia Stauber is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
